In Moscow at the age of 47 years died Russian fashion designer Kirill Gasilin. According to fashion historian Anatole Vovk in his Telegram channel, the founder of the brand Cyrille Gassiline died on October 4.

According to the expert, the cultural worker had a significant impact on the domestic industry and the perception of modern cut. His products were distinguished by conciseness, accuracy of forms and special plasticity.

His professional career included an internship at the Parisian haute couture house Dominique Sirop. There he mastered the principles of working with color and silhouette, achieving a natural appearance of complex structures.

In addition to the author’s clothing lines, the designer developed stage costumes. His portfolio includes performances My Fair Lady, Bayadere and Le Pari.

On the death of a colleague, journalist Ksenia Sobchak responded, noting that she was a client of this brand. The last large-scale show of Gasilin’s works took place in 2019.
