The number of deaths in the shopping center Sterlitamak has increased

The death toll from the Sterlitamak shopping centre fire has risen to four. This is reported by the Telegram channel SHOT. According to the channel, another woman was taken out of the burning building, which, apparently, became the fourth victim of the tragedy.

The area of the fire is currently two thousand hundred square meters. Fire crews and rescuers continue to fight the fire. Extinguishing is complicated by the scale of the fire and the design features of the building. Emergency services are working at the site, which make every effort to localize and eliminate the fire.

Upon the fire, the Investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case under part three of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which provides for liability for causing death by negligence to two or more persons.
