In Alexandrov revealed a million-dollar accounting scam

Alexander city court sentenced a resident of Strunino, found guilty of attempted fraud on an especially large scale (part 3 of article 30, part 4 of article 159 of the criminal code).

In December last year, holding the post of chief accountant of the Strunin House of Culture, the woman initiated a classic scheme for withdrawing budget funds. She prepared fictitious contracts with an individual entrepreneur, who turned out to be her relative. Documents for the current repair of premises and flooring in the amount of more than 1.1 million rubles were masterfully signed by the director of the DC, who did not suspect of criminal intent.

This amount was promptly transferred to the account of an uninformed IP, but the offender did not have time to dispose of the money. The crime was stopped by police officers at the execution stage.

The court appointed the guilty three years of suspended imprisonment and a fine of 500 thousand rubles. The sentence has not entered into force.
