In Asino found an underground shop for the production of alcohol
Police seized more than a thousand bottles of counterfeit, 3.5 tons of alcohol-containing raw materials and 70 thousand packs of cigarettes without marking
Employees of the Department of Economic Security and Anti-Corruption of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Tomsk region, together with colleagues from the Intermunicipal Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Asinovsky, identified and suppressed the illegal production of alcoholic beverages.
The police found an underground shop in Asino, in the unfinished house of a 44-year-old local resident. There, the alcohol-containing liquid was mixed with water in plastic cubes, and the finished solution was bottled. Tara was pasted with labels of famous manufacturers of vodka and cognac.
Most of the illegal products were stored in a garage owned by the same man. In total, in these premises, operatives found more than a thousand bottles of counterfeit goods ready for sale without excise duties and more than 3.5 tons of alcoholic raw materials. There were also supplies of glass containers and cork.
In addition, more than 70 thousand packs of cigarettes were seized from the garage box without the markings provided for by Russian law. Their origin is now being established.
The estimated income from the sale of confiscated products could exceed 13 million rubles. Everything seized was sent for research. The check is ongoing.
