In Astrakhan will judge teenagers for theft and arson of a foreign car
Investigators of the Kirov district of Astrakhan completed the investigation of the criminal case, the defendants of which were three minor citizens
Each of the young people is charged with his own set of actions - depending on the role he played in the incident. All three are accused of attempted misappropriation of a car without the purpose of theft, theft of a car committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy, as well as intentional destruction of someone else's property by arson (part 3 of article 30, paragraph "a" part 2 of article 166, paragraph "a" part 2 of article 166, part 2 of article 167 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
According to the investigation, the events unfolded in June 2026. Then the defendants attempted to steal the Lada Priora, which stood on one of the streets of the Kirov district of Astrakhan, but they failed to start the engine. Afterwards, they took possession of another car, the Daewoo Nexia, and drove it for a while before burning it down.
The evidence gathered by the investigation was sufficient to transfer the case to the court. The indictment has been approved and the materials will now be considered on the merits.
