In the Astrakhan region summed up the results of the second stage of the operation “Illegal-2026”
Work to identify channels of illegal migration and suppress the relevant offences continues.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Astrakhan region, the facts of violations of migration legislation in the region were identified and suppressed as part of the second stage of the federal operation “Illegal-2026”.
In the village of Nachalo of the Volga district, law enforcement officers – employees of the migration department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Volga district together with the district commissioner – checked foreign citizens engaged in the tomato harvest. During the raid, one of the workers attempted to escape, but was promptly detained. He was a citizen of Turkmenistan who was on the territory of Russia without legal grounds. The man was ordered to be forcibly expelled from the country.
Also in the field of view of the police were 6 foreign citizens: they worked on agricultural work without the necessary patents. Both the violators themselves and their employer were brought to administrative responsibility - now they face a fine.
A separate episode was revealed in Akhtubinsk: employees of the district department for migration found a group of 18 immigrants from Central Asian countries in a private residential building. The inspection showed that 6 people completed the mandatory procedure of migration registration at the place of actual stay, thereby violating the established regime of stay in the Russian Federation. All these persons are brought to administrative responsibility.
