In the Astrakhan region increased the number of criminal cases

From January to September, the department received 2,029 reports of crimes. Taking into account the appeals received earlier, investigators reviewed 2,035 reports.

During the reporting period, 1,284 criminal cases were in the investigation of investigators. The investigation was completed in 968 of them, and 938 materials were sent to the court.

The regional department of the UK also noted a decrease in the number of certain crimes against the person. The number of reported rapes decreased from 81 to five, while crimes involving intentional infliction of grave bodily harm resulting in the death of the victim fell from 11 to six. The number of crimes under Article 132 of the Criminal Code decreased from 240 to 206.

At the same time, the number of recorded murders remained at the same level - 19 cases. According to the Agency, the detection of the listed categories of crimes was 100%.

Another area of work was compensation for victims. According to the investigated criminal cases, his total amount exceeded 269 million rubles. More than 161 million rubles were reimbursed. In addition, investigators seized property worth more than 408 million rubles.

Over the course of nine months, employees of the regional department also solved 27 crimes of the past years that had previously remained unsolved.
