In the Akhtuba district of the Astrakhan region, a 34-year-old local resident is suspected of fraud when receiving social benefits.
According to the regional department of the Investigative Committee, a criminal case was initiated under the article on fraud.
According to preliminary data, the woman applied to the center of social support of the population of the Akhtuba district for state assistance to organize entrepreneurial activities. To conclude a social contract, she submitted the necessary documents and a business plan, which contained deliberately false information about her intention to open her own business.
After receiving 350 thousand rubles, the suspect disposed of the money at her discretion, not intending to fulfill the terms of the concluded agreement.
Investigators are now establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
