In Balashikha summed up the results of the raids “Illegal-2026”: detained 326 foreign citizens

Operational and preventive raids were held in Balashikha as part of the complex event “Illegal-2026”. Police officers and people’s vigilantes of the city actively participated in the work.

Specialists examined construction sites and places of mass stay of citizens. This tactic has revealed a significant number of violations of migration laws.

According to the results of the inspections, 326 foreign citizens were detained. In respect of 176 people, administrative protocols were drawn up under Article 18.8 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation. This provision establishes responsibility for violation of the rules of entry into the Russian Federation and the regime of stay in the country.

Typical violations recorded during raids include non-compliance with migration registration rules, lack of documents confirming the right to be in Russia, as well as labor activity that does not correspond to the declared purpose of entry. Sanctions under the article provide for the imposition of administrative fines, and in some cases - administrative expulsion from the Russian Federation.

An important component of the operation was the participation of Balashikha’s people’s vigilantes. Their assistance helps law enforcement officers to more effectively detect violations, promptly respond to suspicious situations and strengthen public order. The joint work of the police and members of the public is aimed primarily at ensuring the safety of residents of the district and the formation of a comfortable urban environment.
