In the waters of the Kaliningrad region, the cargo ship ran aground, moving along the coast of the Baltic Sea, the incident occurred in stormy conditions. This was reported in the regional chapter of the EMERCOM of Russia.

According to the agency, the ship was not damaged, water pollution was not recorded, no one was injured. The incident was reported at 14:35 (15:35 MSK).

In the Kaliningrad region on October 9, a storm rages - the wind speed reaches 27 m / s. In Kaliningrad, there is a storm warning and a high-alert mode has been introduced. Free visits to kindergartens and schools are organized for parents.

Due to bad weather, the Kaliningrad Zoo was closed, and the ferry to the Baltic Spit was also stopped.
