In Biysk, a repeat offender stole money from an elderly roommate
In Biysk, police detained a previously convicted 30-year-old local resident suspected of stealing money from an elderly roommate in one of the hospitals of the science city.

It all started when a 74-year-old patient in a city hospital asked the local police department for help. The pensioner said that 27 thousand rubles were missing from his bag.
Law enforcement officers found out that the elderly man is on inpatient treatment and with him in the ward lay another patient. Shortly before the incident, the victim withdrew cash from the ATM and in front of the neighbor put them in his pocket. The next morning, the man left for procedures, and when he returned to the ward, he found that the money had disappeared. A neighbor was also missing.
The guards quickly calculated the location of the suspect in the theft. He was a 30-year-old previously convicted local resident. During the interrogation, the man fully confessed to the crime and explained that the stolen money managed to spend on the purchase of alcohol and food.
A criminal case has been opened on this fact. In relation to the defendant, a preventive measure was chosen in the form of a subscription not to leave and proper behavior.
