In Brest drunk driver made a mass accident of three cars

In Brest, a 47-year-old local resident provoked a collision of three cars, being in a state of strong alcoholic intoxication. The Department of Internal Affairs of the Brest Regional Executive Committee reported that the incident occurred today at about 12:05 on the Kamenetsky highway.
The man was driving a Mazda car and was moving in the direction from Lieutenant Ryabtsev Street to Gorodskaya Street. In the area of the intersection with Kalinova Street, he did not choose a safe distance and crashed into a Hyundai stopped ahead under the control of a 58-year-old driver. From the impact of Hyundai was thrown to the third car – Citroen, driving which was a 41-year-old Brest resident.
As a result of the accident, none of the participants in the accident was injured, but all three vehicles were mechanically damaged.
The Department of Internal Affairs of the Brest Regional Executive Committee stressed that the observance of a safe distance is one of the main factors of safety in dense urban traffic, which drivers often forget.
