At the enterprise in Brest district killed a minor worker – SK
The teenager, who worked as auxiliary workers under a contract, was dragged by a stream of air inside the ventilation unit. Investigators determine the circumstances of the tragedy.
Investigators establish the circumstances of the death of a 17-year-old teenager at an enterprise in the Brest district. The accident occurred during the tests of the ventilation supply unit, according to the Investigative Committee.
A young man employed under a contract as an auxiliary worker was near the equipment. The flow of air dragged him inside the installation, as a result of which the teenager received injuries incompatible with life.
At the scene, an investigative and operational group worked, which included employees of the forensic department of the UCK in the Brest region. The investigators, together with the GKSE specialist, conducted an inspection, recorded a trace picture, questioned witnesses and seized technical documentation. The necessary expert studies have been appointed.
The Brest Interdistrict Department of the Investigative Committee initiated criminal cases against persons responsible for compliance with labor protection rules at the enterprise. They are charged with violation of labor protection rules, which resulted in the death of a person by negligence (part 2 of Art. 306 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus), and causing death by negligence (part 1 of Art. 144 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus).
Currently, all the causes and conditions that contributed to the tragedy are being established.
