In Bryansk 69-year-old man will be convicted of possession of weapons and explosives

In the Volodarsky district of Bryansk, the prosecutor’s office approved an indictment in a criminal case against a 69-year-old local resident. He is accused of illegal possession of firearms, ammunition and explosives, as well as the manufacture and alteration of weapons.

According to investigators, the man kept at home various types of firearms, more than 700 rounds and 382.6 grams of explosives. He also made a single-shot pistol and converted a double-barreled hunting rifle, shortening its barrels and adapting the weapon for shooting.

In June, police found and seized weapons, ammunition and explosives. The criminal case was sent to the Volodarsky District Court.
