In the Volodarsky district of Bryansk, the court ordered the dog owner to pay 40 thousand rubles in compensation for moral damage for an animal attack on a 10-year-old boy.

The incident occurred in May in the courtyard of an apartment building on Herzen Street. The dog was muzzled and bit the child on the left shin. The boy needed medical attention.

The prosecutor's office of the Volodar district appealed to the court in the interests of the victim. The court satisfied the claim and recovered from the owner of the animal compensation in the amount of 40 thousand rubles. The court decision has not yet entered into force.
