In Buya, a driver killed a man during his wife’s trip to the hospital

The investigative department of the Buisky district department transferred to the court a criminal case against a 35-year-old resident of the village of Chisty Bory. He is accused of violating traffic rules in a state of intoxication, which led to the death of a person (Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

The tragedy occurred in March. At the request of his wife, who needed to get to the doctor in the district center, the man sat behind the wheel of his Renault Megan, already drunk. On the street of the Communists in Buya, when overtaking, he drove into the oncoming lane and rammed the car “Oka”. The 55-year-old driver of a small car died in hospital from his injuries.

Medical examination showed an alcohol concentration of 0.66 mg / l. The accused pleaded guilty, repented and compensated the son of the deceased damage in the amount of 300 thousand rubles.
