In Buryatia, a large family burned down a house, four more residential buildings were damaged in the fire

On the afternoon of September 23, the remote of the duty system "112" received a message about thick smoke coming from the second floor of the bar house in the village of Nizhny Sayantuy, located in the DNT "Bagulnik" Tarbagatai district of Buryatia. To eliminate the fire, forces and means of the 3rd Tarbagatai OGPS of the Republic of Belarus and the fire and rescue part of the EMERCOM of Russia in the Republic of Buryatia were sent.

The fire was so strong that the two-storey timber house was completely destroyed, said the Republican Agency GO and emergency. The total area of the fire was 130 square meters. The owner of the house born in 1992, who lived there with three minor children, independently evacuated with them. The woman received mild carbon monoxide poisoning.

Due to the dense development on the territory of DNT, four neighboring houses suffered from fire and severe heat. The first building damaged the facade skin, the second and third melted vinyl siding, and in the fourth house damaged the insulation of the foundation. Currently, experts determine the preliminary cause of the fire.

The Republican Agency for GO and Emergency Situations reminds of the need to regularly check the state of electrical wiring and not leave unattended on devices and heating stoves. Another important safety measure is the installation of an autonomous smoke detector, which helps detect smoke at an early stage and thereby save lives. At the first sign of smoke or fire, call 101 or 112 immediately.
