In Chuvashia started the second stage of the All-Russian training on civil defense

The republic is undergoing the second stage of the All-Russian command and staff training on civil defense. Within its framework, an extraordinary meeting of the Commission for the Prevention and Elimination of Emergency Situations and Fire Safety was held under the leadership of the Head of the Republic Oleg Nikolaev.

“We face the most important task: during the command-staff exercises, we must work out the entire range of necessary actions, check the coherence of our services and the readiness of each link to real challenges. Exercises are not a formality, but an opportunity to see how effectively we can act in an environment where people’s lives and safety depend on the speed and accuracy of decisions. I am sure that joint work will allow us to strengthen the civil defense system of the republic and ensure reliable protection of our residents, said Oleg Nikolaev.

Training takes place in two stages. On the eve in the regions of the country checked the readiness of civil defense. Today, the participants started working out civil defense measures directly at the regional level.

According to the legend of the exercises, the organization of rescue and other urgent works after a conditional strike on infrastructure facilities is being worked out. Special attention is paid to interdepartmental cooperation, sustainability of management and priority livelihood of the population.

On October 9, regional and municipal warning systems will be checked in the republic. Training sirens will be heard throughout Chuvashia, and television and radio broadcasts will also be intercepted.
