In connection with the action of winds over the water area of the White Sea on the estuary seaside and in the delta of the Northern Dvina, a surge in water level is expected, the department of river and marine hydrological forecasts of the Northern UGMS warns.
The water level at full water according to MG-2 Mudyug and MGP-2 Solombala is predicted in the range of 200-220 cm, according to MG-2 Severodvinsk - 210-220 cm.
When the water level on MHP-2 Solombala reaches 220 cm, the low-lying territories of the delta of the Northern Dvina River are flooded.
