In the Yelets district removed a natural landfill at the entrance to “Olshanka”

In the village of Trubitsino of the Yelets district during regular monitoring, a spontaneous landfill of household waste was found - it grew right at the entrance to the Olshanka recreation center. This was reported in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Lipetsk region.

The state environmental inspector arrived. He held an explanatory conversation with the responsible persons, explaining that cluttering the territory is not only a matter of appearance, but also a violation of the rules of improvement with all the ensuing consequences. The reaction followed quickly: soon the landfill was eliminated, and the garbage was removed.

It is significant that the territory was removed promptly - without long proceedings and regulations. However, the very fact of the appearance of a landfill at the entrance to a popular holiday destination suggests that not all residents and organizations treat nature responsibly.

The Ministry reminded of the need to comply with the rules of improvement and prevent the emergence of new landfills. Regular monitoring allows us to identify such points at an early stage, but the problem can be finally solved only with a responsible attitude of residents and organizations.

Environmentalists urge not to remain on the sidelines: if you notice a natural landfill, you should report it to the relevant ministry so that the territory is put in order as soon as possible.
