In Yerevan, Russian women lost jewelry from the storage room

A Russian citizen lost jewelry worth about half a million rubles in one of the top hotels in Yerevan. The incident occurred with a tourist transit from Volgograd to the United Arab Emirates with a two-day stop in Armenia.

Upon arrival at the hotel, her booked room worth 25 thousand rubles per day was unavailable, according to the Telegram channel "Mash". In this regard, hand luggage, which contained a jewelry box, was placed in the storage room for 2 hours, while the guests waited for settlement. Jewelry donated by the spouse for 7 years of living together, disappeared.

The disappearance of the valuables was revealed on arrival in Dubai, when the woman discovered that the box was empty. The victim appealed to law enforcement agencies and requested from the hotel administration recordings from CCTV cameras installed in the luggage storage area.

The hotel said that the moment of theft in the lens did not get, and video materials to the police were not transferred. Hotel staff attributed the lack of evidence to the expiration of the statute of limitations for keeping records that were deleted. The girl expressed her bewilderment at the rapid disappearance of the data, given that her stay in Yerevan lasted only two days. She insists that the theft occurred in the walls of the hotel.
