In Gantsevichi on the territory of the enterprise there was a leak of urea-ammonia mixture: rescuers eliminated the emergency

Rescuers left on a report of a leak of urea-ammonia mixture on the territory of the enterprise in Gantsevichi. This was reported in the press service of the EMERCOM, writes sb.by.

Exhaustion occurred from one metal tank, the second was depressurized and deformed.

Rescuers restored the collapse to prevent further spills, organized the collection of leaked mixture in special containers. With the help of sprayed water jets, the concentration of evaporated ammonia into the atmosphere was reduced. The vapor concentration of the mixture in the air was also measured: no excess was recorded outside the collapse.

The work of the Emergency Situations Commission under the Gantsevichy District Executive Committee was organized.

Six units of Emergencies Ministry equipment worked at the scene of the incident, including employees of the Pinsk Center of the Republican Special Purpose Unit “ZUBR”.
