The director of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), Amy Pope, said the IOM would send more than 4,000 tents to Gaza this week after downpours flooded and destroyed tens of thousands of tents sheltering refugees.
The director of the department made the corresponding statement in a publication in her account on the social network X (formerly Twitter).
Pope pointed out that due to the floods caused by the floods, tents were washed away, and families had to wade through the water to reach their children.
The IOM director added that reliable materials for shelters in the Palestinian enclave are needed right now.
