In the city of Telman detained a member of the group that kidnapped a person

Law enforcement officers detained two suspects in kidnapping, his illegal detention and robbery. One of the suspects was detained in the city of Telman, Tosnensky district, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for St. Petersburg and Leningrad region reported.

It all began on October 10 with an appeal to the police 33-year-old St. Petersburg. The applicant said that since 5 October he had been detained in his rented apartment in Bolsheokhtinsky Prospekt in St. Petersburg. During this time, under the threat of violence, 1.5 million rubles and an iPhone 18 mobile phone were taken from him. The man was also forced to sign contracts for the sale of foreign cars Audi Q2 and BMW. Only after that, the unknown disappeared in the car HONGQI H5. The victim estimated his material damage at 12.3 million rubles.

Criminal investigation operatives established the owner of the car on which the attackers moved. He was a 28-year-old resident of the Rostov region. And on October 10, he was detained on a street in Kolpino and taken to the police. At the same time, his 29-year-old partner was detained in the city of Telman.

From the explanations of the detainees, it became known that in this way they tried to return money belonging to the company in which the victim worked. They thought he had taken possession of them illegally.

Law enforcement officers now have to find out all the circumstances of what happened. The issue of initiating a criminal case is being resolved.
