In Ivanovo, three accused of kidnapping and theft 84 million rubles sent to jail

Taking into account the position of the regional prosecutor's office, the court decided to arrest three members of an organized criminal group. They are charged with kidnapping and robbery on an especially large scale.

According to the investigation, on September 6, the attackers attacked a 22-year-old local resident, forcibly placed him in a car and took him to the garage. There, using threats, they demanded information about the property of the victim. After that, the attackers broke into his apartment and stole money, expensive equipment and valuables totaling at least 84 million rubles. The man was taken to the forest and left there with his hands tied.

Two defendants were sentenced to detention until December 25, and the third until December 26. With regard to two other gang members, the issue of detention is currently being resolved. The investigation of the criminal case is under the control of the prosecutor's office.
