In the Kaluga region revealed theft of more than 5 million rubles

In the Kaluga region, the FSB revealed a scheme of embezzlement of budget funds in the amount of more than 5 million rubles. The defendant was the head of one of the state scientific institutions of the region.

According to the investigation, using his official position and related organization, he included in the technical specification work that was not in the terms of the contract. The budget funds received from them, as law enforcement officers established, were used for personal purposes.

In relation to the defendant, a criminal case was opened on fraud on an especially large scale under Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
