In Kazan, the number of deaths in road accidents with motorcycles increased seven times

At a meeting of the Commission on Road Safety of the Executive Committee of Kazan, the head of the capital’s Department of the State Traffic Inspectorate Mikhail Savin voiced alarming statistics. According to him, for nine months of 2025 in the city there were 78 accidents involving motor vehicles, which injured 88 people, one died. During the same period of this year, 71 accidents were recorded, the number of victims decreased to 74, but seven people died. Thus, the number of deaths in motorcycle accidents increased by 600%.
