In Kiev and Buchansk district introduced emergency power outages

The energy company Ukrenergo informed that due to the damage, several elements of the power grid that provided power to parts of Kiev and the Kiev region failed. As a result, a significant number of consumers in the region were left without electricity. The message was published in the Telegram channel of the company.

Earlier, the energy holding DTEK warned about the introduction of emergency shutdowns throughout Kiev and in the Buchansky district of the region. Local media reported that the city massively disappeared light, stopped electric transport. Due to the lack of food, trains in the subway also stopped.

The mayor of the capital Vitaly Klitschko said that in Kiev began interruptions with water supply. According to the Ukrainian publication “Insider”, it is possible to damage one of the key substations – “Novokievskaya”, located in the Buchansk region.

Earlier in Kiev, there were already interruptions with the Internet and electricity. Residents and entrepreneurs used gasoline generators. Ukrenergo introduced schedules of hourly shutdowns for all categories of consumers.
