In Kolchugino, traffic police officers used a service weapon to stop a drunk driver

In Kolchugino, Vladimir region, the crew of the traffic police was forced to use service firearms to forcibly stop the Skoda car.

The incident occurred at night on Moscow street. Traffic police officers drew attention to a foreign car that was moving at speed, dangerously maneuvered and drove into the oncoming traffic lane, creating a real threat to the life and health of other road users.

After filing a legal demand to stop, the driver ignored him and tried to escape, leaving for the highway in the direction of Vladimir. The offender did not respond to warnings transmitted through a loudspeaker.

"In accordance with the Federal Law "On Police", after repeated demands to stop and a preliminary warning about the use of weapons, inspectors made targeted shots at the wheels of the vehicle," the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Vladimir region reported.
