In the Kostroma region completed the investigation of a major fraud in the repair of a communal facility. A 33-year-old contractor from Kostroma undertook to replace a smokestack in a boiler school in the village of Doroginya. The municipal contract was estimated at 2.7 million rubles.

However, as established by the police, the real cost of the work was only 808 thousand rubles. The entrepreneur appropriated the difference of 1.8 million rubles by issuing fictitious documents for inflated prices.

When investigators came to him, the man denied not only guilt, but also the fact of his participation in the repair. Nevertheless, the collected evidence base and expertise allowed to transfer the case to the court.
