The Kostroma Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports about a micro-fire that occurred late in the evening of October 7 in a private residential building on Mikhalevskaya Street. The source of the fire was an electrical outlet on the second floor of the house in the bathroom. A washing machine and a water heating boiler were connected to this source of electricity.

Apparently, this was the cause of the fire - the wiring in the socket could not withstand overload, overheated, it began to melt, and then the insulation caught fire ... As a result of the fire, in addition to the socket itself, a washing machine also suffered. Fortunately, the owner of the house noticed the smoke in time and called the firefighters, who coped with the fire in 15 minutes. No casualties or casualties.
