In Krasnodar, the import of a batch of imported grapes weighing 21.3 tons was banned after the discovery of a quarantine parasite plant. Laboratory examination confirmed the presence in the products of parts of the wrench, reported the press service of the Southern Interregional Department of the Rosselkhoznadzor.
The grape samples were taken on October 7 during quarantine phytosanitary control at a temporary storage warehouse in Krasnodar. They were sent for research in the Southern branch of FGBI “ARRIAH”, subordinated to the Rosselkhoznadzor.
The examination revealed parts of the podulka (Cuscuta spp.), which is included in the Unified List of Quarantine Objects of the Eurasian Economic Union. In this regard, the import of the infected consignment to Russia was banned.
Povolika is an annual parasitic plant without its own roots and leaves. It affects crops and can significantly reduce yields and product quality.
Earlier in the Krasnodar region tried to import 1.49 tons of persimmon with a dangerous pest.
