In Kursk, the girl from the dating site deceived the boyfriend for 18 thousand rubles

Another case of fraud occurred in Kursk. It started with virtual dating. According to the regional police department, a 27-year-old man on the dating site began to communicate with a person he liked. During the correspondence, a new friend complained that her friend would not be able to attend the concert, and offered the chicken to keep her company.

The man agreed and, anticipating the first date, clicked on the link that the girl sent to buy a ticket to the next place. The site looked quite plausible. The Kuryanin chose the right place, entered his data and bank card details. Immediately after that, he received an SMS notification about the write-off of funds, but the ticket for the concert never came.

- That seemed suspicious to the victim. He contacted technical support at the number indicated in the message. There he was told the money was not coming in and was likely "stuck on the gateway." To return the funds, the fraudsters put forward a strange condition - it was necessary to repeat the purchase operation, and the card should have an amount equivalent to the order, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Kursk region said.

In the hope of returning his money, the man repeated operations several times, as a result of which he lost almost 18 thousand rubles. Realizing that the money could not be returned, he went to the police.

In the end, no money, no joy from the concert, no friend.
