In the Leningrad region 42-year-old resident with a knife cut the hand and neck of a friend almost to death

In the city of Sosnovy Bor, Leningrad region opened a criminal case against a 42-year-old man. He's accused of attempted murder. This was reported in the press service of the SU IC of the Russian Federation in the Leningrad region.

According to the materials of the investigation, on October 7, in the village of Kelosi, Lomonosov district, an argument arose in the evening between two men who were in a state of alcoholic intoxication. As a result of the conflict, the suspect inflicted multiple stab wounds on the victim in the neck and arm.

The victim was hospitalized in serious condition. The investigator examined the scene and seized items and traces important for the investigation.

The suspect was detained, the investigators intend to apply to the court with a request to elect him a measure of restraint in the form of detention.

At the moment, investigators are carrying out all the necessary investigative and procedural measures, the purpose of which is to identify all the details of the incident, collect and record evidence.
