In the Lida district there was a fire in a residential building. As a result of the incident, one person died. This was reported in the MOE, writes sb.by.

On Monday evening, a resident of the agro-year Mozheykovo reported to the Ministry of Emergency Situations that she heard the sound of an external light and sound device derived from an autonomous fire detector that worked on the house of neighbors.

When rescuers arrived at the scene, there was dense smoke inside the brick house. In the burning room, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations found a man who was visiting. He was taken out to clean air and handed over to doctors. Rescued man hospitalized.

In the next room, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations found the owner of the house unconscious. Doctors confirmed the death of the woman.

Five units of Emergencies Ministry equipment worked at the fire site.
