The offender faces for possession of up to 10 years in prison
In Makeevka, the staff of the drug control department stopped the activities of a local resident born in 1990. The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the DPR reported that during the search at the place of residence of the man, law enforcement officers found and seized more than a kilogram of parts of drug-containing cannabis plants.
The suspect claimed to have grown and stored prohibited substances for personal use. According to the results of the examination, the seized is a narcotic drug, the turnover of which is prohibited in the Russian Federation.
The actions of the attacker are qualified under Part 2 of Art. 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which provides for a punishment of up to 10 years in prison.
