In Magadan, experts did not find the remains after checking the cemetery, where previously found the dug burial. One of the possible causes of damage to the grave believe the actions of wild animals, but the version that the bear removed the body from the ground, was not confirmed. About it RIA Novosti reported the head of the Department of housing and communal services and CI city administration Ekaterina Kramnik.
The reason for the check was the information of the REN TV channel about the incident at the Magadan cemetery. Relatives arrived at the grave of a woman who died in late February and found a damaged burial ground, a broken fence and leftover clothing scattered around. The body of the deceased was absent.
After examining the territory, the commission with the participation of specialized specialists did not find the remains either on the site itself or nearby. According to Kramnik, experts are considering the possibility that the grave was dug by wild animals. Further investigation of the circumstances is required to confirm this version.
The city administration said that the state of the cemetery is monitored by caretakers. They go around the area and carry out sanitary work.
If there are signs of the appearance of bears, the information is transmitted to the State Hotnadzor. Specialists go to the place, and measures to regulate the number of dangerous animals are taken in accordance with the law.
To protect the cemetery from the penetration of wild animals, the city authorities are also considering the installation of a special fencing - the so-called electronic shepherd. This system is designed to limit the movement of animals and improve the safety of the territory.
