A 21-year-old local resident applied to the Partizan police department of Minsk. The young man posted an online announcement about the sale of his car for $1200 and quickly found a buyer, reported the Mingory Executive Committee.

However, the buyer admitted that he was immediately willing to pay only $ 100, and asked to postpone the full payment for two weeks. The seller agreed, took the receipt from the buyer and handed him the vehicle.
After a while, the buyer asked to wait a little longer with payment. Minchan waited six months, but the remaining amount was not received.
During the inspection, the operatives found that the buyer was a 52-year-old Minsk resident, who had already handed over someone else’s car for recycling, and spent the money. The man has previously been prosecuted for similar crimes. A criminal case has been opened.
The police reminds: make purchase and sale transactions only under the condition of full payment and mandatory renewal of documents in the presence of both parties. Do not settle for partial payments, installments and transfer of property until the entire amount is received.
