According to police, for two years, the woman used official access to confidential information about customer accounts, including those that were temporarily not used.
She changed phone numbers in customer accounts, tying her own to accounts. Then, through the mobile application, the bank entered their personal accounts and transferred money to their cards.
In addition, using the trust of colleagues, she, in violation of the established procedure, cashed money from clients’ accounts without their presence. The staff was told that the client was waiting for her in the office and should not bother him. She took the money she got.
The total amount of damage was at least 27,000 BYN.
It is established that in the same way the woman issued a loan for her father, without informing him, and spent the money on personal needs.
