In the Minsk dormitory killed a woman – the crime suspect a pensioner

The measure of restraint in the form of detention was sanctioned against a 65-year-old citizen who is accused of murder, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency was told in the Frunze district prosecutor's office.

The accused drank alcohol in the dormitory room on Pushkin Avenue. At the height of the feast, the defendant had a conflict with a 68-year-old friend. Since she spoke obscenely to him, he grabbed a knife and struck the woman at least two blows in the chest and stomach, causing her to die.

The attacker was arrested and a criminal case was opened against him.

- The accused is divorced, is a pensioner, was once brought to criminal responsibility in his youth - the conviction was extinguished, said Andrei Serbun, deputy prosecutor of the Frunze district. He was charged with intentional unlawful deprivation of another person’s life (murder), that is, committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 139 of the Criminal Code, the sanction of which is from 6 to 15 years of imprisonment. The citizen fully admitted his guilt. A preventive measure in the form of remand in custody has been sanctioned against him.
