A guest from Kaliningrad cheated a pensioner on 200 thousand rubles

In the city of Neya completed the investigation of an unusual criminal case. A 21-year-old resident of Kaliningrad became a courier of fraudsters, but this did not save him from the dock.

An elderly resident of the Nei district was deceived according to the classical scheme of “safe account”. The fraudsters informed her of the due payment, and then, posing as security officers, convinced her that her accounts were hacked and the money was going to “enemies”. To “declar” savings and avoid investigation, the woman was forced to transfer 200 thousand rubles in cash to the courier.

The guy was detained not by the police, but by vigilant citizens who reported a suspicious young man in the form of a courier. It turned out that the detainee himself became a victim of deception: curators forced him to transport money and documents, and a visit to Ney was his first “mission”.

Despite the status of a “pawn”, the young man was charged with fraud (the case is already in court). The stolen 200 thousand rubles operatives returned to the pensioner in full.
