In the Kostroma region completed the investigation of the case of a local “nerd”, who grew hemp* for sale right in his apartment.

The Nerecht prosecutor's office referred the case against the 37-year-old man to the court. According to the investigation, he not only cultivated marijuana himself, but also actively sold it. In May 2026, he managed to sell one packet of grass in the village of Yakushovka for 3 thousand rubles.

However, this criminal activity ended: the police covered the “laboratory”. In the apartment of the detainee found an impressive arsenal of prepackaged potion - about 58 grams in banks and packages. Seeing the evidence, the man confessed everything. He now faces a long prison term.
