In the Novgorod district, a woman drank before the trip and rolled into a ditch

In the evening of October 11, an accident occurred on the Osia-Dolgovo highway of the Novgorod district, the press service of the Department of State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Novgorodsky reported.

The Lada Grant's car rolled into the right ditch. The driver, a 46-year-old woman, was injured. The victim refused medical examination and admitted that before the trip drank alcoholic beverages. At some point, she was unable to manage.

Auto inspectors recalled that even a small amount of alcohol consumed significantly reduces the reaction rate and distorts the perception of the traffic situation. Therefore, the requirement of absolute sobriety behind the wheel is a concern for the safety of all participants in the movement.
