At least nine people, including two children, were killed in a shooting in Erie, Pennsylvania. This was reported by CBS.

The incident occurred on Friday at about 17:00 local time (00:00 GMT). Law enforcement officers arrived at the scene after reports of a shooting. The bodies of two women were found in the street. Inside the house where the shooting occurred, the bodies of several more victims were found.

The suspect killed himself. Police said there is currently no threat to public safety. An investigation has been launched into what happened.
