In St. Petersburg arrested a lawyer in the case of poisoning children with alcohol

Vyborg district court of St. Petersburg sent to the pre-trial detention center previously convicted lawyer Pavlov, who had previously served in the police. According to the press service of the courts of the city, he helped to transfer 2 million rubles to the police to save the businessman from punishment for selling fake alcohol, which poisoned children.

So, no later than May 2026, Pavlov offered his acquaintance to act as an intermediary in a criminal scheme. He took advantage of connections in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and tried to “hush up” the case of poisoning minors with ethanol. As a result, the lawyer received the entire amount and, according to investigators, transferred it to unidentified police officers.

The lawyer was charged on October 10. The defendant himself categorically did not admit guilt, declared a reservation and asked the court to send him under house arrest.
