In the border region for two years defused 14 thousand explosive objects

Today, November 7, the Governor of the Belgorod region Alexander Shuvaev said that in the region since 2024 discovered and neutralized more than 14 thousand explosive objects.

Sappers of the International Mine Action Center surveyed 3,000 hectares of the territory. According to Shuvaev, large-scale work is being carried out.

“Given the intensity of the enemy’s attacks, we must understand: our territory is so strewn with explosive objects that sappers will have to work for more than one year even after the completion of the SMD,” the governor of the Belgorod region said.
