In the Primorsky district bears 33 times went to settlements

According to the press service of the regional prosecutor's office, the administration of the Primorsky municipal district received 33 appeals about the appearance of predators near 13 settlements. The most tense situation has developed in the remote villages of Upper Golden and Lower Golden, where cases of penetration of bears into residential buildings have been recorded.

According to the supervisory authority, the reason for the release of wild animals to people was the reduction of the area of habitual habitats, the growth of the population and the shortage of natural feed base. To ensure the safety of citizens, patrols of territories have been organized and measures are being taken to regulate the number of predators.

Citizens are urged to strictly observe precautions: do not approach wild animals, do not feed them and leave food waste outside, install fences and close compost pits, and avoid moving outside settlements in the dark.
