Today, a planned inspection of the public warning system will be held throughout the republic. Sirens and loudspeakers will turn on at 10:40 and 11:00. Television and radio broadcasts will also be temporarily interrupted.

Residents will hear the signal “Attention to all!”, after which a message will sound: “A check is being made of the readiness of the warning systems of the population!” Please remain calm

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Chuvashia stressed that the event is planned and educational in nature. Residents and guests of the region are asked to remain calm, not to give in to panic and understand the inspection.
