The Governor of the Moscow region Andrei Vorobyov said that in the Ramenskoye urban district due to the fall of an unmanned aerial vehicle lit up the roof of a 21-storey residential building, from which 400 people were urgently evacuated.

On his page in the Telegram, the head of the region said that the most serious consequences were recorded in the Ramena district. He said that on the North highway, a fallen drone provoked a fire on the roof of a 21-storey high-rise building. As a result of the accident, 400 residents were evacuated, including 70 children, and 20 parked cars were damaged.

Earlier, representatives of Moscow authorities said that the region was the target of a massive drone attack. In the Orekhovo-Zuevsky urban district, when a drone hit a private household, an elderly man died, and the structure itself was destroyed and engulfed in fire. In addition, it became known about one injured resident of the Lenin city district.

In addition, it is reported that in the village of Sofyino, a drone crashed into a three-storey residential building located on Novaya Street. As a result, six apartments on the top floor of the building were damaged. As a result of the incident, a 44-year-old woman was killed, five more people were injured.
