During 2017, the bug settled almost throughout the Krasnodar Territory. And the further spread of the pest to other regions of the country contributed to the general warming of the climate.
“Adults go to winter in large clusters, choosing for this room with a higher temperature compared to the external environment: attics, basements, garages, hangars for various purposes and even a stack of lumber,” the expert explained, stressing that this behavior significantly increases the chances of survival of the pest in the winter months.
